How does laser hair removal work?
The hair follicle is targeted at a specific time in their growth cycle to prevent regrowth. Individual hairs are all at different stages in their growth cycle, therefore multiple sessions are needed to see long-lasting results. We recommends 6-8 session, 4-6 weeks apart to get the best results.
Do I need to prepare for my treatments?
1. The above hair removal methods all remove the hair from the follicle in the skin. The hair follicle needs to be present for the laser to destroy it. Shaving is the only method which can be used before laser hair removal.
2. The tanning methods can lighten your hair and darken your skin, making the process more difficult and can lead to adverse effects with your current setting which have been patch tested to a different skin tone.
Can all people have hair removal?
There are certain medical conditions and medications which may make you unsuitable for laser treatment. Our expert therapists will be able to confirm your suitability during a consultation. You cannot have laser hair removal if you are pregnant or breast-feeding. If you become pregnant during your course, we are happy to extend the period you can complete your treatment from 12 to 24 months to allow you enough time to resume your treatment following a pregnancy.

Santa Rosa Laser Hair Removal
Are you fed up with spending valuable time and money each month on hair removal? If the answer is YES then you might be interested in learning more about its long-term removal, something that can be done safely and effectively using up-to-date technology with laser hair removal in Santa Rosa, CA.
Laser hair removal has been in use since the 1990s and was originally discovered when patients having treatment for port wine stain removal, or for tattoo removal, found hair growth in the treated areas was stunted or completely eliminated.
Since then, laser technology has advanced considerably, and the development of long-pulsed Nd:YAG lasers have led to effective face and body hair removal.

How does Laser Hair Removal work?
Santa Rosa Laser Hair Clinic uses the Polaris long-pulsed laser to help eliminate hair regrowth, and it can be used to treat a large number of different areas on the face and body. This is a very safe form of hair removal that uses light energy to destroy the hair follicle without damaging the skin.
The laser is set to a particular wavelength to reach right to the base of each hair, right to the follicle. At this point the energy is converted into heat, destroying the follicle. Repeated treatments will slow and may eventually eliminate hair growth. More than one session is necessary as hair follicles will have different growth cycles, and an individual follicle may be in an active phase where the hair is growing during laser removal treatment, or it may be dormant.

Shaving, plucking, tweezing and waxing are all temporary fixes for unwanted hair. With our medical grade laser hair removal treatment, you can quickly and easily reduce unwanted hair on your body or face with longer-lasting results. With multiple treatments of laser hair removal, the hair will become thinner and softer. As you progress through your treatment plan, growth will become slow, sparse and less visible.
The secret to great results lies in technology. At Laser Hair Removal spa in Santa Rosa, CA, we use the latest Cynosure technology – the laser industry’s leading technology for laser hair removal. About Santa Rosa
Santa Rosa, city, seat (1854) of Sonoma County, western California, U.S. It is situated on Santa Rosa Creek, at the foot of the Sonoma Mountains, 50 miles (80 km) north-northwest of San Francisco. Founded in 1833 by Mariano Guadalupe Vallejo and named for St. Rose of Lima, it developed as a processing-shipping centre for agricultural produce of the Sonoma Valley. Agriculture no longer dominates the economy, which now mainly depends on retail-service industries catering to an increasing residential population. The city has been the site of several utopian-living experiments, including Fountain Grove (1885), founded by Thomas Lake Harris. The home and gardens of horticulturist Luther Burbank were given by his widow to Santa Rosa Junior College (founded 1918). The city’s Church of One Tree Museum (built from a single redwood tree) honours “Believe It or Not!” creator and Santa Rosa native Robert L. Ripley. In the nearby Valley of the Moon is Jack London State Historic Park, which contains the ruins of his home, Wolf House; a museum where the writer’s original manuscripts are displayed; and his grave. Also nearby are Annadel, Bothe–Napa Valley, and Sugarloaf Ridge state parks. Inc. 1868. Pop.
